The annual ceremony marking the death anniversary of Qudwa-tul-Aulia Sayyidna Tahir Allauddin al-Qadri al-Gillani (R.A), the spiritual patron of Minhaj-ul-Quran International, was held in Baghdad Town (Township) Lahore the other day. The ceremony got underway with the washing of the blessed grave. Pir Sayyid Mahmood Mohi-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani made special participation in it.

Hafiz Aminuddin Qadri, patron of MQI and Bazm-e-Qadria, Haji Ghulam Mustafa Qadri, Director of Foreign Affairs, Haji Manzoor Hussain, Dawood Hussain Mash`hadi, Muhammad Afzal Qadri, Malik Ikramullah Qadri, Malik Habeebullah Qadri, and others were also present on the occasion. Pir Sayyid Mahmood Mohi-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani laid the chaddar on the grave. Later on Sahibzada Iftikhar-ul-Hassan presented the 'manqabat' to the presence of Qudwa-tul-Aulia Sayyidna Tahir Allauddin al-Qadri al-Gillani (R.A). Pir Sayyid Mahmood Mohi-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani led the special Dua at the end.

The second session of the programme got underway with the recitation of the Holy Quran by Qari Muhammad Nadeem Naqshbandi with Pir Sayyid Mahmood Mohi-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani in the chair. Irshad Azam Chishti, Muhammad Ali Sajjan, Malik Ghulam Dastgir Qadri, Minhaj Naat Council and others took part in Naat Khawani. The programme concluded on special prayer led by Pir Sayyid Mahmood Mohi-ud-Din al-Qadri al-Gillani.
